From Long Beach, Fountain Valley, Placentia, & Westminster, Los Nauticals consists of Peter Fontes, Tim Frankeny, and Mike Belk- 3 out of 4 original members of 2 time OC Music Award winning national act, The Originalites. Teamed up with lead singer and guitarist ‘Swingin’ Johnny Griffin and trumpet player Jason Sandoval of the Sonic Creepers, Los Nautical’s sound is an unmistakably dirty blend of traditional Jamaican ska, rocksteady and hardcore punk with elements of crucial 70s/80s style dub reggae drizzled in. Although, their cover list expands much further into genres of swing, rockabilly, folk rock, americano, blues and Latin jazz as well as the afore mentioned genres. This is an original band with a huge cover list! They know how to keep the crowd thirsty and intrigued.
